The name of this month is of course also an English word that has interesting meanings. If I say I may do this...it means I have not decided on it. I may, or I may not.
But of course to say We may not meet in person this month has the meaning that we are not permitted to do so. Zoom is our only choice for the 16th and the 30th.

"Purification" from COVID?
According to Wikipedia:
The Roman month Februarius was named after the Latin term februum, which means purification, via the purification ritual Februa held on February 15 (full moon) in the old lunar Roman calendar.
It might be too much to hope for purification from COVID 19, so we'll continue meeting via ZOOM until further notice. The ZOOM link is below. See you on these dates in February!
