It turns out our next English Club will look like this. We can use the room after all! The reservation was made prior to the state of emergency, so our July 18 date will be in person!

...so we Zoom! July 18 will be our next time. Let's take a break in August, and come back together face to face in September!

The name of this month is of course also an English word that has interesting meanings. If I say I may do this...it means I have not decided on it. I may, or I may not. 

But of course to say We may not meet in person this month has the meaning that we are not permitted to do so. Zoom is our only choice for the 16th and the 30th.
