Worth a Thousand Words

In our first English Club on Zoom, we looked at the paintings of Norman Rockwell. This one shows a person studying while working, thinking of a better future. There's a similar theme right in our neighbourhood, in front of an office building on Eitai Dori.

The Age of Coronavirus!

Isn't this the perfect picture for the time we're in! Japan is not exercising the strict "social distancing" that many other countries have mandated, but that could come at any time. So, we'll be meeting virtually until the situation improves, whenever that is.

Snack Attack!

Do you have a sweet tooth? Or do you like savory snacks? Our English Club people overwhelmingly like sweet, with also some salty/spicy snacks as well.

Due to Coronavirus, we'll have to wait until April to see whether our meeting place is available. Until then, wash your hands (and don't hoard toilet paper!)
