April May bring June

Of course it's fine if April brings June. May can come along as well. All are welcome to English Club Shiohama! It's interesting that the Spring months are used as women's names. For July you could make it into Julie, and August can be made into Augusta for a woman. 

 

Spring into 2024

 

Water from a spring is fresh and delicious. 

If the spring on the couch pokes out when you sit down, you will spring up in alarm. 

If the door springs open, the dog will escape. 

If the gas tank springs a leak, the fuel will escape.

In January and February we won't likely see Spring, but perhaps it will arrive by March.

Autumn, or Hotumn?

 

I think the temperature is cooling at last here in Tokyo.

October 1st and 15th

November 5th and 19th

and 

December 3rd and 17th 

will take us through the Fall, or Autumn

First, Third, First, Third, First, Third, Fifth!

 Our summer schedule is easy to remember! First and third Sundays of May and June, and first, third and fifth Sundays of July. We will take a break in August. 

Raise the Bar!

Do you know what "bar" means? If the word is on it's own, we think of a place serving alcohol, as is the case here with this van at Sky Tree. But, you can also have a dairy bar, serving ice cream, or a coffee bar.
